2026 dust control applications are now closed.
The County of Barrhead offers seasonal dust control (MG30) to residents at a subsidized rate. Residents can apply for dust control at the following rates:
$1.50 per lineal foot plus GST
Minimum application: 400 lineal feet
Maximum application: 1,000 lineal feet
Applications & Payment
Dust control applications are now closed. To apply for seasonal dust control in 2027, submit a dust control application form before the deadline (usually May of each year). Applications usually open in April, check back soon for updates.
Payment can be made at the County of Barrhead office via cash, cheque, debit, or e-transfer to payments@countybarrhead.ab.ca.
Please note that the County reserves the right to maintain all sections of road as required, including sections with dust control.
