In addition to multitudes of local professionals and skilled trade workers in our community, the County is located within the
GROWTH Alberta region with a population of approximately 45,000. Further, County of Barrhead is located within an hour of
several large urban centers (Edmonton, St. Albert, Morinville, Spruce Grove and Stony Plan) with populations ranging from 10,000 to 1.4 million, the County has access to a very diverse labour pool.
Approximately 80% of the local population is of working age.
