Municipal reserves surrounding some of our lakes serve as an environmental buffer and provide public access to the bed and shore.
On August 29, 2019, County staff met with residents of the Thunder Lake & Lightning Bay subdivisions to inform, consult and involve lot owners in understanding the purpose of reserves, expectations and create recommendations to inform future reserve bylaw revisions in turn informing future lake management plans.
