Road Bans
If roadways are susceptible to damage, road bans or road closures may be issued to prevent further damage and correct unsafe conditions. Road bans are put in place on oiled and select paved roads from March to November each year. Imposing road bans help extend the lifespan of our roadways. Permits to haul weight in excess of the road ban can be obtained by filling out an Overweight Permit Application.
