Job Offers & Endorsement

How to Request Endorsement:
Once an enrolled employer offers a job, they can request a municipal endorsement letter from the Barrhead Community by submitting the following documents (before October 31, 2025)
  1. Request for Endorsement form (sent to the employer after they enroll their business
  2. Signed job offer letter (must meet all requirements outlined below)
  3. Current temporary work permit
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
  • Barrhead's Community Designation will expire on November 4, 2025.
  • To ensure all requests are reviewed before Community Designation expiry:
    • Endorsement letter requests must be submitted by October 31, 2025
Previously issued endorsement letters do not expire. If you have already received an endorsement letter, this change will not affect your AAIP Expression of Interest of Provincial Nomination application.  
Offer Letter Requirements:
AAIP requires that job offers are signed by both the employer & the employee, and must meet the following criteria:
  • Letter is written on company letterhead
  • States that the job is full-time, for 12 months or more
  • States that the job is in the Town or County of Barrhead
  • States wages & benefits
  • Includes a description of job duties
  • Is signed by both candidate & employer
  • Includes date of letter
