The LIFT Conference 2024 brought in 2 keynote speakers, who are both internationally recognized and frequent the global stage. Businesses in the Barrhead area had the unique opportunity to gain world-class knowledge right in their hometown, and build real strategies for success & growth with practical methods for implementation. Local business owners were able to build their roadmap to success with high-profile experts!
1st Keynote: Keka DasGupta
Keka has been globally recognized for her 25 years in the marketing industry, working with world-renowned clients like Disney, Nike, Ikea, and Mercedes-Benz. Keka has her own TEDx Talk, and has been seen on Breakfast Television, CBC, and The Globe and Mail. Keka brought this high-profile experience to Barrhead, and shared her wealth of knowledge on marketing & branding strategies to set local businesses up for success, regardless of the size of their business.
2nd Keynote: Michelle Cederberg
Michelle has spent over 20 years specializing in empowering business professionals to set worthy goals, reviving energy in the workplace, and igniting high performance. Michelle is a bestselling author, internationally renowned for her ability to energize & lead, and was inducted into the prestigious Canadian Speaking Hall of Fame in 2023. While in Barrhead, Michelle presented tangible strategies to re-energize business owners, help ignite their best performance, boost productivity, and forge a path to success.

Public Trade Show:
This event will also hosted a public trade show! Businesses had the opportunity to test skills acquired at the keynote sessions, and showcase their products and services to the public. After getting inspired by our keynote sessions, business leaders practiced what they've learned in real time.
Business Networking Event:
The conference closed with a business networking event, which provided a vital opportunity for businesses to discover new potential partners, find local supply chain opportunities, and connect with business support agencies.
Over wine, cheese, & appetizers, conference participants collaborated with their peers and investigated resources to grow their business, regardless of their stage of business development. Funding partners, business supports, provincial ministries, and other resource agencies were in attendance to answer any questions from employers and forge long-lasting supportive relationships.
